Dr. Robert L Bloomfield, MD
Physician/Owner

Born and raised in Lowell, Massachusetts. He graduated from Dartmouth College in 1973 and finished medical school at Duke University in 1977 with honors in Internal Medicine, Surgery and Psychiatry rotations. He did his Internal Medicine residency at Bowman Gray School of Medicine/North Carolina Baptist Hospital. Dr. Bloomfield has tremendous experience in Internal Medicine and is well renowned and published in the field of hypertension. His hobbies/interests are music, outdoor activities, reading/writing and spending time with his wife and family.

Dr. Tenika McCorkle
Family Nurse Practitioner with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice

Dr. Tenika McCorkle is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice. Dr. T received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Winston-Salem State University in 2007, Masters of Nursing from South University in 2017, and Doctor of Nursing Practice from Winston-Salem State University in 2022. She has over 18 years of clinical experience with specifically 7 years as a primary care provider. Dr. T has a diverse clinical background including Intensive Care, Bone Marrow Transplant Unit, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Home Health and primary care. Dr. T has a passion for people and for empowering patients with knowledge and resources to live healthier lives. She has a published manuscript as the lead author in The Association of Black Nursing Faculty Foundation Journal, titled "Telemedicine with Phone Coaching on Diabetes Self-Care Practices in Rural Adults."  The study showed an improvement in diabetic patients' knowledge and levels by providing more frequent follow up visits with an emphasis on patient education.​ Dr. T is very family oriented. She loves spending quality time with family and traveling.

Laurin Stroud
Social Worker, Counselor, MSW, NCCP

Laurin grew up in Winston-Salem, NC surrounded by the traditions of her Moravian family. She received her BA majoring in history from Salem College, which is of special significance to her because it was established by Moravian settlers in 1772. Laurin earned her master’s degree of Social Work from NC A & T as well as UNCG Universities. She is a North Carolina Bar-Certified Paralegal. Laurin received extensive training during her graduate studies as a social worker in two internships, the first with the Student Services Department of the Winston-Salem Forsyth County School System, and the second with Caring Services Treatment Center in High Point, NC where she worked with persons struggling with addiction. Laurin volunteered for 3 years with the Legal Aid of North Carolina as a Justice for All Volunteer and worked with victims of domestic violence. Laurin enjoys writing and performing music, riding her bike, and traveling. She also has a long history of rescuing animals and finding them a loving home - sometimes her house is like a zoo.

​JoLynn Tobar-Eller
Clinical Supervisor, Coder/Biller, RMA, Phlebotomist

​Spanish speaking health care practitioner
JoLynn is from Modesto, CA. She and has worked in the medical field since 1994, after obtaining her Medical Assisting Certification in 1992, EMT license in 1997, and phlebotomy certification in 2011. JoLynn’s experience spans skills from the ER, industrial medicine, pediatrics, general family practice, behavioral health, and OB/GYN. She has worked as an instructor various allied health programs with several colleges in the last decade and is a CPR instructor. JoLynn attained an associate degree from San Joaquin Valley College and a bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management from Southern New Hampshire University. She is planning to pursue a nursing degree. JoLynn has 4 children, 2 sons who serve/d in the US Military, and 9 grandchildren. She enjoys family time, traveling, sports and modeling.

Katie Garrett
RMA

Katie Garrett was born in Greensboro, NC and grew up in Winston Salem. She has worked in the medical field for over 16 years. Katie attained her first certification as a CNA from Forsyth Tech, and worked in home health care. Later, in 2012, she went back to school at Living Arts Institute and earned her Registered Medical Assistant Certification. She then worked as RMA in Family Care of Winston-Salem from 2016 until 2025. During her tenure at the practice, she performed not only the requirements of a RMA, such as intake, vitals and phlebotomy, but assisted with management of the practice as well. Katie loves Healthcare and helping patients in the best way she can. Her goal for the future is to become an RN and grow to be the best person and mother she can be to her daughter. She enjoys music, family, love and laughter.

Clark Kellam
Front Desk Reception

Clark was born and raised in Winston Salem, NC. He has worked in the medical office setting since 2007 as a front desk and reception clerk, providing excellent customer service and support to our patients. Clark coordinates the overall interaction and communication between the office and our patients, ensuring their experience with us a pleasant and personable one. His interests include family, friends, and outdoor activities.

Naomi Greenberg
​Administrator

Naomi is a native of Kibbutz Cabri, Israel. She moved to Winston Salem in the fall of 1999 to attain her BFA in Contemporary Dance from UNC School of the Arts. Upon graduation in 2003 she danced professionally with the Alban Elved Dance Company for 17 years, while working part time in Muse Scenic Studio for 10 years. Naomi is an active visual artist, as well as a teacher of Hebrew in Temple Emanuel. She joined the Evergreen Health Promotion team in 2014 and took over management of the practice in early 2015. She loves a good story, museums, and long walks in nature. ​

Jonathan Romm
Web Support

Jonathan provides Evergreen Health Promotion's staff with online support. Jonathan graduated from Marquette University and the University of South Carolina. He lives in Chapel Hill with his wife, son and daughter.
